Privacy Policy — Atlantis HQ
Privacy policy

The fine print, in plain English.

We try to write this the way we'd explain it to you on the phone. Last updated 27 May 2026.

Who we are

Atlantis HQ is a digital services business based in Australia. When this policy says "we", "us" or "our", that's us. When it says "you", that's anyone using this website or our services.

What we collect

Only what we actually need to help you:

  • Contact details — name, email, phone number, business name — when you book a chat, email us, or fill in a form.
  • Conversation notes — what we discussed, so we don't make you repeat yourself next time.
  • Site analytics — anonymous information about how people use this site (pages viewed, rough location, device type). We don't link this to you personally.
  • Project information — anything you share with us so we can do the work, like access to your website, Google account, or ad platforms.

How we use it

To do the things you'd expect: reply to your enquiry, deliver the services you've engaged us for, send the occasional update about your project, invoice you, and keep the website running. That's it. We don't sell your information. We don't share it with third parties for marketing.

Who else sees it

Only the tools we need to run the business — email, accounting, project management, hosting. These providers have their own privacy obligations. If a service we use is ever compromised, we'll tell you straight away.

Cookies + tracking

This site uses minimal cookies — essentially just what's needed to make it work and measure rough traffic. No cross-site advertising trackers. You can block cookies in your browser any time without breaking anything important.

How long we keep things

For as long as we're working together, plus a reasonable period after for tax, legal and "hey, can you find that old file" reasons. If you want everything deleted sooner, just ask.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • See what we've got on you.
  • Correct anything that's wrong.
  • Delete it (where we're not legally required to keep it).
  • Stop hearing from us.

We'll handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988. No paperwork required — an email is fine.

If something goes wrong

If we mess up — a leak, a breach, a misuse — we'll tell you, tell the regulator if required, and tell you what we're doing about it. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, contact us first. If we can't resolve it, you can take it to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
